Human Rights Day

10-12-2023
Human Rights Day
Today marks the anniversary of one of the world's most groundbreaking global pledges: the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). This landmark document enshrines the inalienable rights that everyone is entitled to as a human being - regardless of race, colour, religion, sex, language, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status.

The Declaration was proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in Paris on 10 December 1948 and sets out, for the first time, fundamental human rights to be universally protected.  Since 1948, the human rights have evolved and gotten constantly updated for a better vision of the future of human rights, new ideas are announced and approved through a combination of international treaties, national laws, and evolving social and moral norms.

If you like the UN and the role it partakes in international affairs, you might consider studying in one of our partner universities which offer degrees in International Relations, Human Rights, International Law, Development studies, Public administration or Journalism/Communication.

Remember it’s December and soon you will have to decide what and where to study. If you want to study in a Spanish private university there are some requirements that you need to meet. For International students you will have to do the Homologation of your high school studies and for European students you need the UNED Credential.

It is a tedious process, contact us early enough to finish before the deadlines set by the universities end.
